Remembering September 11th by Feeding the Homeless in San Diego

Thanks to all the Streets of Hope San Diego homeless volunteers who came downtown to the streets of San Diego on September 11th Memorial Day to feed San Diego’s homeless.

We have never missed feeding the homeless on Monday night in the last 5 years, even on a holiday!

It was as great night with our homeless friends as we made sandwiches and fed them like we do every Monday night. And no matter what happens on a Monday, whether it be Halloween, the 4th fo July, and Christmas or Easter, we have never missed a Monday night feeding the homeless since we started!

As an ice-breaker, we all remembered what we were doing on that tragic day when terrorists attacked our country. It was interesting to hear all the stories, and even a few from our homeless friends.
