We first met little six year old Lauren at our special event this past March 13th where she got her first hair cut ever! (Read more about that by clicking here.)

So when we found out it was her birthday the next week, Streets of Hope volunteers, Paul and his daughter Victoria, went out and bought a cake for Lauren along with an Easter bunny and glasses. She could not stop saying how pretty it was. They also sent her and her mom, LaQuitas, on a movie night to see Beauty and the Beast, and they even followed up later with them to give Lauren another birthday gift: a much needed pair of shoes.
