The Streets of Hope San Diego thanks San Diego State University’s Helping the Homeless and Korean United Methodist Church for serving San Diego’s homeless with us at our first special event since the Covid-19 Pandemic started.
Here’s a quick summary of highlights from feeding and serving San Diego’s homeless at this special event:

- 110 Sleeping Bags Passed Out to the Homeless
- 40 Tents Passed Out to the Homeless
- Over 100+ Homeless People Served
San Diego Donations to the Homeless Special Event 2021 Special Thanks
All of the volunteers really stepped up to make the night special for San Diego’s homeless.
So thanks:
- To Tammy, and especially Wylie, Mario and Jose and the other hair stylists from The Country Club Barber Shop for the 40+ homeless hair cuts!
- To San Diego State University’s Helping the Homeless Co-Presidents, Caitlyn and Lauryn for rallying your team, serving the food, passing out the items and for attending all those meetings to make this happen!
- To the SDSU Helping the Homeless team for all you did, from serving food, passing out sleeping bags, helping with clothing donations, haircuts and more.
- To Pastor Kim and the volunteers from Korean United Methodist Church for walking the streets announcing the event to the homeless, driving all those tents downtown and then passing them out.
- To Conrad and Rob for bringing all the food and setting up
- To Carlos and Marcellino for taking all the photos, and video
- To Cameron for handling the hair cuts list and managing the donations lists
- To Jen & Cindy, Victor, Christina, Chris, Bryce, Connor, Vanessa, Sarah all the rest of our regular Streets of Hope volunteers who helped the homeless tonight
