A Great Night on Thanksgiving Feeding San Diego’s Homeless

It was a great night where everyone contributed to honoring some of our closest San Diego homeless friends. It started off when Christina brought an amazing turkey which she had been preparing for a couple of days. Then, one by one, people began showing up with the side dishes of corn, biscuits, cranberry Sauce, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, pumpkin pie, apple pie and more!

While people where showing up, a few of us went to San Diego downtown to pick up the homeless who we invited to join us on this special event.

One of our good downtown homeless friends, Milton, was the life of the party. We loved the stories he told of his past Thanksgiving adventures.

Overall it was an amazing night. Next year we’ll plan on another San Diego homeless Thanksgiving house event!
