Horizon Prep School Holds Blanket Drive for the Homeless

Horizon Prep School Holds Blanket Drive for the Homeless

The Streets of Hope San Diego gives a special thanks to students from Horizon Prep School for holding a blanket drive and then joining us this Monday night to hand out those blankets to the homeless.

“…a blanket drive… for kindness week!”

Paige and her family traveled downtown to make sure we got the blankets. We asked her to tell us a little bit about why Horizon Prep School held a blanket drive for the homeless. Paige wrote:

“Today’s blanket donations came from Horizon Prep Christian school in Rancho Santa Fe! Our high school ASB ran a blanket drive for you guys last week for kindness week! Kids from grades K-12 donated these blankets to you guys and we’re all super glad to be able to help out:) I’m so happy I got to see more into what you guys are about today with my siblings, and I’m really looking forward to coming back with my school to make sandwiches and hand out donations sometime soon!

Thanks Paige, thanks to your family for dropping off the blankets and thanks to everyone at Horizon Prep Christian school for holding this blanket drive!
