“We thoroughly enjoyed preparing sandwiches for the Streets of Hope.”
Marlys Bastow and the HDR team took time during their cultural event to prepare PB&J sandwiches for the homeless community that Streets of Hope impacts. Here’s what Marlys shared with us after participating in this event:
“We thoroughly enjoyed preparing sandwiches for the Streets of Hope yesterday. Here is a picture of our event and HDR’s cultural team. Thank you.
As employee-owners at HDR, we take to heart our responsibility to improve our communities—not only in design solutions for clients, but by actively participating in our communities. As a firm that specializes in building, shaping and serving communities, we take special pride in volunteering for community programs, leading community organizations, helping protect the environment and educating our children. It’s simply part of our culture and ongoing commitment to the communities in which we all live, work and play – our commitment to the place we call home that makes us special.”
Thanks Marlys and all the volunteers from HDR for making Monday night a great night to serve the homeless. We appreciate you taking your time, and spending your cultural event to help us serve our homeless community here in San Diego, CA.
